The regal Morgan stallion B-L FLINTSON made a name in
West Coast Morgan circles this year for himself and his
owners, Intrepid Farms. As a two-year-old, he captured
the title of Junior Grand Champion Stallion at the 1971
Golden West Regional Morgan Horse Show, and then
returned this past month to be named Grand Champion
Stallion at the same show as a five-year-old. |

He comes by his good looks and quality quite naturally.
A 1969 son of BAY STATE FLINTLOCK out of O-AT-KA SEALECT
LASS, the young stallion's magnificent bloodlines are
becoming more apparent as he matures. In 1974, he was
also named Grand Champion Stallion at the Morgan Classic
Royale in Santa Rosa, the National Date Festival Show
(Morgan Division) in Indio, and at the Morgan Diamond
Jubilee in Del Mar.
Numerous Pleasure Driving Championship and English
Saddle Championship honors have also been accorded him
at many recent shows, and although he had not yet
attained his size in his fourth year, he was honored
with a Grand Championship nonetheless, a noteworthy
accomplishment for a stallion so young.
Another feather was added to his hat when his first son,
INTREPID SIR BREEZE, earned the Reserve Junior Champion
Stallion title at the 1974 Golden West Show. The
handsome yearling can look toward a promising future,
following the winning ways of his sire. Not only is
B-L FLINTSON a show champion, but he is already proving
himself a sire of Morgans of excellent quality. |
